The Bravura Academy curriculums teach techniques in plein air oil painting, use of natural lighting in and out of the studio, and painting subjects unique to this province which have influenced the art of many acclaimed artists from past generations.
Each workshop is made up of studio instruction and field study varying by instructor. You will have the opportunity to immediately apply your knowledge gained in the studio and plein air sessions while free-painting daily.		  

Rose Arts Centre / Master Artist: Rose Irelan
The Rose Arts Centre teaches in the atelier method. This age old tradition of classical training has been handed down for centuries from master to student. We feel the best way to learn art is to start with building a strong foundation of skills: drawing, painting, sculpture as well as the studying and reproducing Masters' work. This takes many years to accomplish and is an endeavor well worth the time. We believe there is no short cut to doing quality art and just as the musician, athlete, or dancer take many years of training and dedication to develop their skills, so does the artist.
